About KYSCOMA
Meet Kyle Scott Maternick (aka “KYSCOMA”), an outsider artist who considers himself more of a recluse. In the past, he felt that opening up and sharing his work was difficult, but now he has decided to welcome you into his world of art!
KYSCOMA initially began his artist career with photography, which opened up his world to the life of what he calls “breathing art.” From there he transitioned to digital art, and more recently has created hundreds of painted masterpieces.
To him, the art world is second nature, and he finds himself meditating on the theory of art daily. To him, art–truly good art–comes from a place deep inside, where one may say the soul is.
His mission with his artwork is to bring people joy when they experience it, and also that people can see what they want from the art – because that’s all art wants…to be seen by the viewer even in stark silence from the artist. In all honesty, he creates for the paintings themselves, not the people who view them. But he does enjoy seeing the viewer light up with that spark of awe or a moment of thought in their eyes.
KYSCOMA’s vibrant and thought-provoking art pieces are transformed into print-all-over designed apparel, turning everyday wear into a canvas of expression and conversation. Each design not only stands out for its aesthetic appeal but also carries deep, meaningful narratives that resonate with individuals from all walks of life.
